Powerful song...thought provoking. Thank you! Living in Wisconsin, it takes on a different meaning for me today. The political scene here has been volatile.

We are all in the Human race, and should all be on the same side. Peace!

Hopefully, we the people will be on the same side - for at least a little while - although it looks like this round we could have Hard Hats on the Progressive side instead of the Love It or Leave It side. Sheesh. That makes the Hard Hats of the 60's the Hippies of this decade. What is this decade called, anyway?

Barring Complications, VeryMissMary and I will be tweeting, with video, from the Rally to Save the American Dream here in NYC tomorrow. We'll be thinking of you, JustJane

We're on the side of the workers. We went to a rally at the capitol in Annapolis today. Over 300 people showed up in support of Wisconsin workers. I'll be doing a post on it soon.

We had complications and didn't make it out after all so I'm very eager to hear all about it, V.V.

Believe it or not, some of my ancestors sound just like that. Saw this great video when searching for Pete S.'s rendition. Both have great historical photos. But who the hell cares about history? ; )
